My name is Mary and I've been photographing humans in love for over six years now. My photography approach is simple, directive and unique. I blend my love for documentary/photo journalism with my affinity for high fashion flair to bring together some of the most iconic imagery. I guide my couples into organic moments, rarely fabricating or saying "can you do that again" because documenting how your day truly goes is what will make you say "wow, I can feel this moment as if I just lived it." I value building a relationship with you and your partner beyond just being your service provider. Getting to know you on a deeper level helps me stay keen on documenting you in your most authentic way. Although my love runs deep for photographing weddings, my loves outside of my business range far and wide.
I'm a huuuuge Harry Styles fan. Ask me anything about him, I know it. (Yes, I was 'one of those' One Direction fan girls and still am) I've recently taken on training for my first marathon (NYC baby!) and have fallen in love with this endurance sport. Aside from spending most of my time either behind the computer curating gorgeous heirloom galleries and training for my first world major marathon, I spend my time off with my partner, Hunter, my cat, Enzo-Andrea Mazzucco-Ferguson, often times go thrifting, going to yoga, and reading. I originally earned my degree in Communications and Marketing, focused in Public Relations, and have over a decade worth of experience working in the media industry.
No awkward poses, no forced smiles, no weird moments like me saying, "laugh at each other and look like you're having fun". I know how to make you and your partner feel at ease so those documentary moments come naturally, and my editorial posing is effortless. When you're with me, I'm able to bring out your natural love and emotion without having to fabricate it.
